It brings happiness to individuals and their families, and comfort those in need. Nursing is not for the faint of heart and requires a lot of sacrifice and patience. I am a person who likes to get challenged. My aunt has repeatedly told me, no day is ever the same, and each day offers a variety of challenges that keeps you learning and excited about the profession. I have had a bit of experience of working in a hospital setting, that have prepared me for the nursing program. During this time I was able to work with highly capable nurses. This allowed me to have a better understanding on both the medical side and practical side of this filed.

Firstly, I want to help people. When you are in a hospital the patients need emotional warmth and tender words. A nurse spends more time with patients then the doctor, and create a comfortable atmosphere for the patient. The nursing profession is challenging and diverse. The diversity and learning opportunities that nursing offers makes it the best field for me to get into.
